The idea
Broomwood’s underused green areas will be improved to develop high quality, accessible and biodiverse outdoor spaces, unified through a looped access trail connected by QR codes on themed carved wooden totems.
Each location will be linked as part of the overall project and help create a family walking route.
Broomwood residents will be encouraged to get involved in nature, co-create quality green spaces that they can feel proud of and can access without barriers.
Opportunities will be increased for relaxation, exercise, improving mental health, connecting with nature and gardening and encouraging residents to care for their local environment.
