Renew Community Fund Projects

Funding creative solutions to reduce household waste in Greater Manchester

The Renew Community Fund (formerly the R4GM Community Fund) is a joint Recycle 4 Greater Manchester and Suez initiative, administered by the Greater Manchester Environment Trust, to support Greater Manchester community and voluntary sector groups.

Since 2021, the fund has awarded a total of £1.2m to 110 local projects.

The fund is supported through the profits of the 3 ‘Renew’ reuse shops

These funded projects contribute towards preventing, reusing, or recycling household waste, promoting the sustainable use of waste and resources, and generating wider social benefits for the community of Greater Manchester.
