The GMET is a registered charity that channels green finance into Greater Manchester through our Green Spaces Fund.
We connect grassroots groups and corporate supporters across the city region to make Greater Manchester greener for all.
We offer a suite of Corporate Supporter opportunities, from volunteer days to large-scale donations to incredible projects. Supporting the GMET and our Green Spaces Fund projects at any level can help you meet environment-focused aims like Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Value.

The demand for funding from groups across Greater Manchester has been huge, and we consistently receive more applications to the Green Spaces Fund than we can support.

Root - Find out more
This is the tier for your organisation if you want to make one-off or ad hoc donations to the GMET, and support the work we do in a flexible way.
This might look like:
- If you host an event, asking your attendees to make a small donation to the GMET via our JustGiving page.
- Making a one-off contribution to the running of the Trust.

Seed - Find out more
This is the tier for your organisation if you want to get your hands dirty and join us for corporate volunteering sessions at a Green Spaces Fund.
This might look like:
- Using us to arrange a standalone volunteering day for your staff at a green project in Greater Manchester.
- Using us to arrange regular annual volunteering days at a green project in Greater Manchester.

Bud - Find out more
This is the tier for you if want to fund a brand new Green Spaces Fund project and see it grow.
You will cover the full cost of the project of your choice and follow the group's journey from start to finish. You will be sent a shortlist of applications and will be able to pick the project that is the best fit to your requirements.
