The idea
To develop a spare piece of land that is overgrown and create a nature wonderland, an open space to explore and discover nature, so that future generations can enjoy learning about wildlife and nature on their doorstep.
We will clear the land, begin wildflower planting, and run bee keeping and woodworking workshops. We'll be using recycled materials and turning them into bird boxes and hedgehog homes.
We'll also include training for those who need to upskill, and provide activities with local volunteers and engage those who have skills to help create a Wild and Free space.
