The idea
Gorse Hill is an area of acute disadvantage – there are three parks: Gorse Hill, Marje Kelly and Nansen.
This project brings people from areas around the parks together to create quality green spaces; they will become involved with nature and develop a greater understanding of the climate and biodiversity emergency.
Supported by experienced professionals, individuals and families will lead all areas of the project, including;
• Deciding what will be done.
• Where it will be done.
• How it will be done.
They will learn new skills and be supported to look after green spaces for the future.
