The idea
We plan to transform the paved space in front of our community centre on the A6 into a nature hub and community garden.
Designed by local peat-free business Bud Garden Centre, it will feature native plants, fruit, and herbs for our community kitchen. Maintained by our gardening group, the hub will offer mental health benefits, upskilling opportunities, and a welcoming green space for all.
It supports biodiversity, community involvement, and our new role in Levenshulme in Bloom, helping green our urban area and connect people through nature.
