Growing for Good - Wharton and Cleggs Lane Church & Community Centre

Our outdoor spaces include two main priorities for development to further benefit the community - an area at the side of the building where we want to create a children’s friendly garden, and a large community garden allotment called Grapevine Community Garden.

Using the fund, we would like to create new projects within both spaces and incorporate into them ways of making use of water on site: run off after heavy rain on the ground and water directly from our building’s roof.

We want to increase the ways in which these areas can be used and their sustainability.
