The idea
We will transform a run-down area in Brinnington from a barren concrete space into a vibrant green space celebrating community, creativity, local heritage and rail confidence.
Working with school children and care home residents in Stockport, we will create murals with a nature theme on the back wall, create two custom metal benches and 9 planters all with laser cut patterns of nature inspired drawings by the children and care home residents.
The planters will be in the form of train carriages as the train station is next door, surrounded by 6 trees.
